She's Been an Artist Since Childhood

Thought to be a "prodigy" at the age of seven, Kimbo was studied by college students when she was in the 2nd grade. She began selling her work at that same age, door to door in her neighborhood and to any guests that would visit the family home. Sadly, not many pieces from her earlier works are still around. The two pieces of work displayed in this section are from her high school days. The one on the left titled "Never Never Land" won her an award in a juried competition during her senior year. The one on the right is titled "Up Close and Personal". Both originals are framed and priced for sale at her gallery. Prints are available also. Call 678-817-9700 for quotes and more information.

Kimbo takes in commissioned pieces on a regular basis. Collectors have asked her to paint many subjects on many different surfaces but these are some of the most interesting ones lately and we just wanted to share.

This original collage painting was created especially for her home town and was unveiled for public viewing during an event hosted by the Brooks Womens Club at Brooks' town hall in December 2006. Resident artist, Kimbo Daniel focused on the special things that represent the place she's been living:church, family, community, history , nature, agriculture, commerce and sports
