Artist's Biography:

Kimberly "Kimbo" Daniel is an award winning multi-faceted artist. Her works vary in subject, style and medium. Born a creative child, she was always encouraged by family, friends and teachers to push herself to the limit. She studied art throughout grade school, attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and continues education with night, weekend and online courses. Kimbo received her certification as a Graphic Designer from the University of Georgia. She is a member of  The Fayette Society of Fine Art and the Newnan-Coweta Arts Association. Her work is collected locally and nationally. Kimbo enjoys competitions and regularly participates in shows and events. Many works by this artist have appeared on bookcovers, pamphlets, album covers, brochures and the world-wide web.

After moving around the Southeastern U.S. and a short while living in Germany, the artist considers the state of Georgia her home. Love, support and understanding that she receives from her family and friends has helped her to strive for and accomplish many creative endeavors. Some of those include becoming a custom picture frame shop/art gallery owner, visual artist, graphic designer, published poet, lyricist, recording artist and aspiring actress. Her spiritual nature allows her to see beauty in most things. Dreaming and risking criticism has taken her to places that few dare to travel.

Ms. Daniel has served on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations that represent and promote the arts. She continues to give back to her community through volunteering and helping others whenever possible. She teaches art whenever the chance arises. Her classes have been held in the studio, at private school, church, community clubs and on special occasions at public schools. Kimbo has really enjoyed showing other artists how to get their work "out there". As she reflects on her own past and remembers “hard times”, she knows, from experience, that a caring soul can make a big and positive difference in someone's life. Overcoming disheartening obstacles and enjoying life in general has been the basis for much of the creativity that she continues to unveil. Kimbo loves nature, antiques, cooking, dining out, entertainment and traveling. She will continue her journey grasping inspiration from people, animals and places all over the world.

Artist, Kimbo Daniel will never forget the people that have believed in her and truly helped to nurture the light within. Above all else, she credits her Lord and Savior, for this gift of creativity.
